ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS

As a result of their experiences in mathematics classes, students at HVRHS will be able to

• perform mathematics accurately;
• read mathematics for understanding;
• communicate mathematics effectively;
• apply mathematics to real-life situations;
• evaluate the reasonableness of solutions;
• use technology to solve problems; and
• formulate and test conjectures and make generalizations of findings.
